Admission Procedure
1. Prescribed application brochure can be obtained from the institute on cash payment of Rs 200/-(non Refundable) in person or through post by sending a DD of Rs 300/- per form( Drawn In favour of NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING CENTRE, NEW DELHI)
2. Admission form Can be downloaded from the institute website (www.nitcindia.com) and may be filled online from the website itself.
Registration fees of Rs. 500/-(non Refundable) must also be sent through cash/ DD/online with application form in favour of NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING CENTRE, NEW DELHI. Attested copies of required educational qualification should also be enclosed with the application form.
Applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex Servicemen categories should produce certificates issued by competent authority.
Selection Criteria
The admission are to be based upon merit and sometimes on first come basis depending upon the seats in the respective trade and time to fill up those seats.
Qualification
The academic qualification prescribed for the trade varies from class Xth pass to XIIth pass depending upon the trade
Age
The candidates of 14 years onwards of age as on date of start of admission session are eligible for admission. There is no upper age limit fixed taking admissions in the course.
Attendence
Attendance of the Students comprises of two parts: (1) Theory Classes and (2) OJT (on the Job training)/Apprenticeship.
Students are required to maintain a minimum attendance of 75% in a year for both theory & practicals/OJT.
For OJT training, students are allowed to complete training at their respective native places with prior authorisation from the Principal.
उपस्थिति
छात्रों की उपस्थिति में दो भाग शामिल हैं: (1) थ्योरी कक्षाएं और (2) ओजेटी (नौकरी प्रशिक्षण पर)/प्रशिक्षुता।
छात्रों को थ्योरी और प्रैक्टिकल/ओजेटी दोनों के लिए एक वर्ष में न्यूनतम 75% उपस्थिति बनाए रखना आवश्यक है।
ओजेटी प्रशिक्षण के लिए, छात्रों को प्रिंसिपल से पूर्व अनुमति के साथ अपने संबंधित मूल स्थानों पर प्रशिक्षण पूरा करने की अनुमति है।
Hostel Facility
The institute does not have its own in-house hostel facility but there are many private hostels and private PG’s available near our Institute. PG/Hostel charges will depend upon facilities and sharing basis.
संस्थान के पास अपने स्वयं के इन–हाउस छात्रावास की सुविधा नहीं है, लेकिन हमारे संस्थान के पास कई निजी छात्रावास और निजी पीजी उपलब्ध हैं। पीजी/हॉस्टल शुल्क सुविधाओं और साझाकरण के आधार पर निर्भर करेगा।
Reservations
As per State Govt. rules. It is clarified for the prospective candidates of SC/ST/OBC categories, that reservation benefits in these categories for the admissions shall be admissible as per judgement 04-08-2009 of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India as passed in Civil Appeal No. 5092/09 (arising out of SLP Civil No. 24327 of 2005) – Subhash Chander & Ors. vs Delhi Subordinate Services selection Board and Ors. All prospective candidates taking benefit of reservation in the admissions are advised to check their eligibility regarding admissibility of benefit of SC/ST/OBC reservation as per above judgment of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
Scholarships:
All Students of reserved category having eligible income certificate can apply for grant of Scholarship according to rules of Scholarship in their respective States. The role of Institute is limited merely to forward such applications received from respective students to social welfare Department of their States.
छात्रवृत्ति
पात्र आय प्रमाण पत्र रखने वाले आरक्षित वर्ग के सभी छात्र अपने राज्यों में छात्रवृत्ति के नियमों के अनुसार छात्रवृत्ति प्राप्त करने के लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं। संस्थान की भूमिका केवल संबंधित राज्यों से उनके राज्यों के समाज कल्याण विभाग को प्राप्त ऐसे आवेदनों को आगे बढ़ाने तक सीमित है।
Academic Session
Exams and Certification
Exams are conducted directly by NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training, Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Skills Development & Entrepreneurship Government of India) at the end of the programme at any venue finalized by them (in the state in which programme is conducted). After the successful completion of the trade, the certificate is also awarded directly by the NCVT.
Batch Schedule
Regular full time classes are conducted in the institute. The medium of instruction is both English and Hindi.
Discipline
The following requirements are enforced:
a) A Regular attendance and punctuality shall be observed;
b) No missing or cutting class shall be permitted.
c) Misconduct will not be tolerated.
Non-observation of proper discipline may lead to student suspension or expulsion from the institute
Library/ Resource Centre
Reference books, magazines & journals on the desired subjects are available to the students from Monday to Saturday from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Machine Room
Sessions at the machine room are designed to gain more practical knowledge for logical development in problem solving. Extra practical time is also available for students to practice individually on the computer for technical advancement
Field Training
To create the practical approach in students, regular field training is being organized. For example for Health Sanitary Inspector students regular field visits are conducted in cooperation with Directorate of Health/Public Health departments, Municipal Corporation etc of the state. For dental Laboratory Technician students, training at different hospitals, clinics, laboratory etc are being conducted.
Laboratory
Students gain a better understanding of difficult curriculum concepts in class and gain access to learning resources and self-assessment tools that reinforce their internalization of these concepts resulting in improved academic performance at the institute.
To enhance the learning ability and skills with hands on material, the institute has a laboratory system that enables the students to perform practicals related to their concerned syllabus
Demonstrations/ Visits
Visits of different institution pertaining to the course of all the trades are being organized from time to time to give the students a practical knowledge
Project Work
Students have to submit the projects in time as assigned by the concerned faculty member to qualify for the final examinations.
DTC Bus Pass
Govt. provides concessional bus-pass facility to the student @Rs 100/- per month and the same is valid in all AC’s & Non- AC buses plying in Delhi.
